Are you looking for a fun alternative to traditional cardio exercises like running, biking and aerobics?

Do you want a workout that burns calories quickly while helping improve your balance and spacial awareness?

If so, then you might want to consider purchasing a JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline.

What You Should Consider Before Buying a Fitness Trampoline

The first thing to consider are your fitness goals.

Are you satisfied with your current cardio routines? However, many of us want to switch up our workouts to prevent boredom.

Doing the same thing over and over again gets tiresome. It can also lead to waning interest in workouts.

Also, challenging your body in slightly different ways can help your overall physical development. A new exercise can help you discover weaknesses that you didn’t know you had.

Rebounding has a number of health advantages over more traditional forms of cardio such as running. First of all, it’s a form of HIIT cardio that gives you fast calorie burn.

Rebounding can support your bone density, stimulate bone formation, improves bone strength and decreases bone resorption by the body.

Consequently, it’s a great exercise for people who suffer from, or are concerned about, developing osteoporosis.

Rebounding (jumping on a trampoline) also is low impact.

It puts little “wear and tear” on your joints while still providing enough weight-bearing resistance to help your bones.

It also can stimulate the lymphatic system by helping your body flush out toxins, dead cells and other bodily waste.

Rebounding works the leg muscles, buttocks, deep back and abdominal core along with the pelvic floor. This last benefit is particularly important for people who might be struggling with incontinence.

Working the pelvic floor on a regular basis helps strengthen the muscles of the urinary tract and can also help stabilize hip joints.

Finally, rebounding can help your balance and coordination. Overall, rebounding is a great alternative cardio exercise for aging “gym rats” who are concerned about maintaining their ability to ambulate.

Introducing JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline

JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline 3

Rebounding is a trendy workout routine in a lot of health clubs.

I must confess that I’m somewhat intrigued by this piece of equipment since I jumped on my neighbor’s full-size acrobatic trampoline as a child.

I can tell you it does indeed work your leg and abdominal muscles in a very different way than running or biking.

The JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline is a high-end model from a company that has become a leader in producing fitness mini-trampolines.

JumpSport also makes the model 220, 250, 350, 370, and 550.

The JumpSport 570 PRO is both the largest (44 inch circumference) and highest quality product the company makes.

Models with the “PRO” designation are built from better quality materials and come with a longer warranty, which makes them suitable for commercial use.

Pros

  • High 300 lb. user capacity
  • Build quality
  • Adjustable springs
  • Durable (lasts for 1.6 million bounce cycles)
  • Gives a great bounce

Cons

  • Product is expensive
  • You can get extra that expand your workout routines, but they cost they cost more

JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline Features and Benefits

Springs

JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline 4

The most outstanding feature of the JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline is the springs.

The Jumpspot Model 570 PRO comes with 36 bungee cords capable of 1.6 bounce cycles of use. That’s up to 10 times more than many of its lower-priced competitors.

There are also seven adjustment levels for the cord tension.

This allows users to adjust the rebound force, which enables the JumpSport 570 Pro to handle people with a wide variety of size and weight as well as optimizing for different exercises.

The trampoline won’t fling you too high and you won’t suffer from “dead cat bounce.” Like Goldilocks, you can find a level that’s just right.

These settings are a big improvement over JumpSport’s more inexpensive models. For example, the model 220 only has one tension setting and the model 350 has three settings.

Jumping on it is both smooth and silent. It doesn’t squeak or make any other kind of odd noises as you rebound, which can be annoying with a lot of inexpensive fitness trampolines.

Company literature claims that the JumpSport 570 PRO model provides 40% less impact than its competitors.

Frame

All JumpSport Trampolines come in monochrome black.

The JumpSport 570 PRO model has a frame with a 44-inch diameter (40.5 inches of usable jumping surface), which is the largest fitness trampoline the company makes.

The larger size gives you more room, which allows you to perform a wide variety of exercises.

Overall, the frame is very sturdy. It’s made from 16 gauge steel tubing and is triple- coated to resist outdoor elements.

That’s great for a home user, who might want to keep their trampoline outside. The fitness trampoline can support up to 300 lbs. of weight.

This is 50 lbs. more capacity than many of JumpSport’s lower-end models.

Despite the sturdy frame, the fitness trampoline weighs a trim 25 lbs. It’s not hard to move around.

The JumpSport 570 PRO has arched legs to improve stability. But, this feature does increase he overall “footprint” of the unit beyond the 44-inch circumference.

As a result, the JumpSport 570 PRO model exercise trampoline takes up considerable space.

Exercise DVD

JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline 5

JumpSport does provide you with a nice instructional DVD to tell you how to use their trampoline.

The company calls it a “4-in-1 workout”, which suggests that it includes four different routines. Not so.

The “4-1n-1 workout simply means that it includes warm-up, cardio, stretching and cool-down. It’s really only one routine, but is certainly nice to have.

Warranty

The PRO model comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and legs, five years for the mat, and four years on the elastic cords.

All other parts carry a one year warranty. There aren’t many fitness trampolines that offer anything more.

Assembly

Unfortunately, you have to assemble the JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline. You have to attach the legs to the frame as well as installing the mat.

Overall, it’s really not at all difficult. Assembly took me around 30 minutes, which is pretty good compared to a lot of home exercise equipment.

Make sure you really tighten the screws on the legs. Otherwise, the trampoline could wobble as you jump.

Trust me, feeling a trampoline wobble when you land on the mat is rather uncomfortable.

The last thing you need is to worry about safety on a trampoline you expect to jump on 1.6 million times.

Storage

JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline 2

Unfortunately, the frame doesn’t fold. However, you can stack up to eight units on top of one another. This feature is critical for health clubs which need to store multiple trampolines for exercise classes.

Even so, storing enough trampolines for any exercise class will take up a lot of room given the JumpSport 570 PRO’s rather wide footprint.

Accessories

The JumpSport 570 PRO mini trampoline doesn’t come with any accessories other than its exercise DVD.

But, you can purchase a wide variety of extras (such as handlebars and weights) from the company to increase the variety of exercises you can perform.

Given the high-end price of the base unit, this lack seems a bit exploitative compared to some other fitness trampolines.

What Others Think of the JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline

Overall, people love this treadmill and had good things to say about it.

Devon Hutchens bought the JumpSport 570 because at 255 lbs., he didn’t want to risk hurting himself on an inexpensive fitness trampoline. He isn’t disappointed by the JumpSport 570 PRO, which doesn’t squeak or move around on the floor when he uses it.

Nat loves the quality and quiet performance of the JumpSport 570, while Andrea considers it to provide the best HIIT workout possible without causing pain in her knees.

JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline Alternatives

The JumpSport 570 PRO Fitness Trampoline is far from the only mini-trampoline on the market.

I have included three other competing products so my readers can get an idea of how the JumpSport 570 PRO compares to its competitors.

Sport Plus Unisex Quiet Miniature Indoor Rebounder

If you’re looking for a lower-priced alternative that comes with a stability handlebar, yet still gives quiet and safe performance, you can consider the SportPlus Unisex Quiet Miniature Indoor Rebounder.

The biggest feature that jumps out at you about this fitness trampoline is the large handle attached to the frame.

This bar can help stabilize users who aren’t accustomed to jumping on a trampoline or performing exercises on one.

While this features is available as a separate purchase on the JumpSport 570 PRO, it comes with the SportPlus Trampoline.

Pros

  • Adjustable balance bar
  • Non-slip base
  • Comparable mat size to JumpSport 570 PRO

Cons

  • Weighs slightly more at 29.3 lbs. vs. 25 lbs. for JumpSport 570 PRO
  • Doesn’t have any tension adjustment for springs
  • Not rated close to the 1.6 million bounce cycles of JumpSport 570 PRO
  • Weight capacity of 286 lbs. vs. 300 lbs. for JumpSport 570 PRO

BCAN 40″ Foldable Mini Trampoline

If you’re looking for a fitness trampoline with a long stability bar and is foldable, then you should check out the BCAN 40″ Foldable Mini Trampoline.

This is another fitness trampoline that comes with an included stability bar.

But, instead of a rather short handle it’s a full bar that even extends outside the jumping surface.

It also has a closed-design steel springs for safety, which is a nice feature to prevent you from ramming into the springs on an errant jump.

Overall, this unit looks be designed with user-safety as it’s no. 1 priority.

Pros

  • Large foam-padded handle bar that comes with unit
  • Closed springs design
  • Lifetime after sale service available
  • Mat is anti-slide and waterproof (good for those who wish to store it outside)
  • Folds to less than 1/4 the expanded size
  • 330 lbs. weight capacity compared to 300 lbs. for JumpSport 570 PRO

Cons

  • Only get one year warranty on mat, frame and handle
  • No adjustable spring tension levels
  • Only 28 inches of usable jumping surface

LEAPS & REBOUNDS: Rebounder – Fitness Trampoline

If you’re looking for a fitness trampoline that comes with a lifetime warranty and costs considerable less than the JumpSport 570, then you can consider the LEAPS & REBOUNDS: Rebounder – Fitness Trampoline.

The Leaps and Rebounds fitness trampoline adds a little personal flare to their device by including a colored border to the mat with seven different options.

Though it doesn’t come with a handle like some of its competitors, it does have legs that you can unscrew and remove. This makes the unit easy to store.

While it seems adequate, the frame doesn’t appear as stable or durable as the JumpSport 570 PRO.

Pros

  • Comes with multiple color options for mat border
  • Does have available stability handle (separate purchase)
  • Lifetime warranty and 30-day satisfaction guarantee

Cons

  • Doesn’t have adjustable tension levels
  • Only 36 inches of usable mat surface
  • Springs not rated for anywhere close to 1.6 million jump cycles
