I understand how hard it can be to reach weight loss goals. You hit the gym hard, you lose the initial weight, then it may seem like you hit a plateau.

That’s when you need a little help. A good fat burning supplement can help you power through those stubborn pounds.

The problem is that there are so many on the market, all claiming to be the answer to your problems.

Many of these supplements are a bunch of marketing and not a lot of action.

I decided to find out which ones work, and which don’t. During my search, I came across SPORT Burn from Performance Lab.

I was thoroughly impressed with this product.

In this article, I’ll tell you why Performance Lab® SPORT Burn would be a great choice for your fat burning supplement needs.

Things to Consider Before Buying a Fat Burning Supplement

Before diving into Performance Lab® SPORT Burn, let’s go over some things you need to know in general about fat burning supplements.

Once you’re familiar with this information, it will be easier to see why Performance Lab® SPORT Burn is a great choice.

There are three things you should really pay attention to when choosing a fat burning supplement. They are ingredients, labels, and reputation.

Ingredients

Fat burning supplements have had a long history of hitting the market then having ingredients being banned for safety.

For example, ephedra was an all-natural ingredient found in many weight loss products until it was banned by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) in 2004 for safety reasons.

Since then, there haven’t been any major ingredient bans, so the market is stable right now. However, you still need to pay attention to the ingredients label.

There are only a handful of ingredients that promote fat burning.

Despite this, some fat burning pills will have a long list of ingredients and they really do nothing to promote fat burning or weight loss.

They simply “look good” on the label.

If you come across a fat burning product that has an extensively long list of ingredients, it’s probably fillers, or other ingredients that make it more marketable.

I’m not saying that they’re all bad ingredients. I’m saying that they’re unnecessary.

You also want to be careful of how much caffeine is contained in a supplement.

Caffeine is a great energy booster, but sometimes fat burning supplements can contain extremely high levels of caffeine to make you feel like it’s working overtime for you.

To put this in perspective, the FDA recommends no more than 400 milligrams of caffeine per day for the average healthy adult.

Keep that in mind as you’re reading caffeine content.

Labels

A lot of manufacturers use vague words and fancy graphics to make their products more marketable.

You need to learn to see straight through that. Sometimes the products with simple graphics, or none, can be the best choice.

As far as the vague wording goes, it’s all a marketing ploy. Some of the vague statements I’ve come across include:

  • “Promotes youthful levels.”
  • “Contains anti-inflammatory effects.”
  • “Gives you a unique sensory experience.”

Think about it.

What does any of that mean?

The answer is nothing.

It just sounds good on the label.

Make sure the label is making actual, definitive statements about what the product can do.

Reputation

Reputation is probably one of the most important things you should pay attention to.

With newer supplements, this may be a little difficult since they don’t have longevity on the market.

However, with supplements that’ve been around for a while, it’s easy to find plenty of reviews and information.

Look to see if the company has had recalls or bad press. Check out consumer reviews. You could even go as far as checking social media. The reputation of the company is important.

Performance Lab® SPORT Burn

Performance Lab® SPORT Burn 2

Now that you know what you should be looking for in a fat burner, I can tell you why Performance Lab® SPORT Burn is such a great choice.

SPORT Burn by Performance Lab is one of the highest-quality fat burners on the market.

It’s all-natural and it’s not packed with a bunch of filler ingredients. Plus, it’s stimulant-free so it’s safer than many of the other brands on the market.

  • Only has relevant ingredients.
  • The formula is not “proprietary” so you can see what’s included.

Features & Benefits of Performance Lab SPORT Burn

Here is where you’ll learn what makes Performance Lab® SPORT Burn great.

This product is truly a step above others on the market. The company put a lot of research and effort into making Performance Lab® SPORT Burn a high-quality product.

Relevant Ingredients

Performance Lab® SPORT Burn 4

Besides the capsule itself, Performance Lab® SPORT Burn only has seven ingredients.

Every single ingredient is purposeful and aids in the fat-burning process except for one.

However, that one ingredient is also necessary.

The best part about the ingredients is that they can all be researched, and their usefulness can be verified.

The six active ingredients are:

  • Calcium – we all know that calcium is great for your bones. However, did you know that it aids in fat-burning? In a study done by Michael Zemel, PhD, director of The Nutrition Institute at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, it was shown that the more calcium a cell has, the more fat it can burn.
  • NutriGenesis® GTF Chromium+ – chromium is known to help regulate insulin. This leads to an increased metabolism, especially for people with diabetes. Even if you don’t have diabetes, chromium helps to reduce blood fat which can be beneficial for anyone.
  • Forslean® – this ingredient is produced by the Sabinsa Group. It’s an all-natural ingredient that is in the mint family. The extracts of the root of this herb is what’s used in SPORT Burn. This ingredient boosts enzymes in the body that are responsible for the breakdown of triglycerides, which are the building blocks of fatty tissue.
  • HMB – Hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB) is a chemical that is naturally produced by your body. Studies have shown that it aids in aerobic and anaerobic capacity. In other words, it helps to minimize the breakdown of muscle protein as you work out, leading to a faster recovery and enhanced fat-burning after strength workouts.
  • Capsimax® Cayenne Pepper Extract – the brand of this isn’t necessarily important. Cayenne pepper has an ingredient called capsaicin. This ingredient has thermogenic properties. It raises your body temperature, causing your body to have to work harder to cool it down. This promotes an increased metabolism and increased calorie burning. Capsaicin can also help to suppress your appetite.
  • BioPerine® Black Pepper Extract – again, the brand isn’t the important thing here. Black pepper contains piperine which behaves much just like capsaicin.

The seventh ingredient which isn’t an active ingredient but is important, is NuFlow® rice concentrate.

This is an anti-clumping ingredient.

Many manufacturers use chemicals for anti-clumping purposes, but to keep Performance Lab® SPORT Burn all-natural, rice concentrate is used.

It’s extremely effective and great for all types of diets.

It’s worth mentioning that even the capsule is made from a natural ingredient. It’s made from fermented tapioca which provides you with prebiotic benefits.

No Gimmicks

Performance Lab® SPORT Burn 3

The fact that Performance Lab® SPORT Burn doesn’t have any marketing gimmicks makes me feel confident that it works.

They don’t have pictures of super in-shape athletes on the bottle.

They don’t have extra claims of “mental clarity” or “increased mood” or anything else that has nothing to do with fat burning.

Most importantly, they tell you it’s backed by science and the product is actually backed by science and can be verified.

It’s refreshing to see a fat burning supplement that is open and honest about their formula.

While Genius Fat Burner does have a tiny bit of gimmick to it (claims of it being nootropic), it’s still a great fat burner supplement. It’s not all-natural but the ingredients that it uses are all relevant.

There are no fillers. It is a slightly higher price than SPORT Burn, but nothing too excessive. Overall, it would be a great choice.
